ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Joy Berg is a mom and teacher who wrote Ready for Takeoff after helping her own anxious son gain confidence with flying. She lives in south dakota on a farm with her family. when school isn't in session, she spends her time catching up on her "to-be-read" List. Traveling is also a priority in her life.
One of my favorite spreads in the book is when Michael asks Captain Chad about turbulence. I've never been a fan of turbulence, but I myself feel more at ease after hearing the captain's response.
